There is no better setting for a home than the base of the world's highest active volcano (5897 m.).

The Cotopaxi house is located in the national park of the same name and to take advantage of the panoramic view; the social area is designed with 3 glass facades where the south and most important face directly to the volcano, the east to Sincholagua (4899 m.) and the west to Pasochoa (4200 m.). The 5 en-suite bedrooms, in contrast and more private, face north with a soft and relaxing view.

The dwelling is contained in a circular base lined with logs in the form of a rondador representing the crater, the volume is raised 1.20 m to mitigate the effects of a melting glacier in the event of an eruption.

The energy and positivity projected by the clients, who want to share with their family and friends the experience of a refuge of maximum comfort after experiencing the incredible outdoors around this colossus, result in a stone and glass building that pays homage to its magnificent location.
